Description
Background:
Enapotamab vedotin (EnaV, also known as HuMAX-AXL-ADC) is an AXL-specific human IgG1 antibody conjugated to the microtubule disrupting agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) through a protease cleavable valine-citrulline (vc) linker. Once EnaV binds to AXL expressed on the cell membrane of AXL-positive tumor cells, the complex is internalized and cleaved by lysosomal proteases, releasing free MMAE. As a result, MMAE can diffuse freely within the cell where it binds to the microtubules and inhibits tubulin polymerization. Thereby MMAE interferes with the proper assembly of the mitotic spindle during cell division, resulting in cell cycle arrest and eventually cell death. Since free MMAE can also diffuse back out of the cells, EnaV has the potential to cause additional bystander effects by killing surrounding AXL-negative tumor cells.
Intended Use:
For Estimation of Enapotamab (HUMAX-AXL-ADC) in human serum and plasma. Krishgen’s range of KRIBIOLISA kits are developed using the high quality raw materials and are thoroughly validated for accuracy and precison. They allow quantification of serum or plasma protein drug levels, and can be used for biosimilar and generics research to understand pharmacokinetic properties of the drug. Please note the kit has not been optimized to be used for any other animal species. Should you require a specific sera tested, please connect with us for optimisation.
